ARTWORKS artists – Chris Gamble, Lucy Lutyens, Elaine Nason and Anne Paton – Art For Cure exhibition

Four ARTWORKS artists – Chris Gamble, Lucy Lutyens, Elaine Nason and Anne Paton – have been selected to exhibit in the Art For Cure exhibition at Glemham Hall, Suffolk, from Saturday 30th April to Monday 2nd May 2016.

‘High Spirits’ by Chris Gamble

There will be over eighty artists and sculptors exhibiting in the house and grounds of Glemham Hall during the three day art event. The commission earned by Art for Cure from the sales of art and sculpture will raise funds for the breast cancer charity Breast Cancer Now, and also local organisations who provide care and support to those affected by breast cancer.

The Art for Cure exhibition at Glemham Hall will be open 10am to 5pm over the three-day weekend. Light refreshments and lunches are also available (see Art For Cure website for menu and booking).

Entry fee to the exhibition (house and grounds) is £5, includes parking and exhibition catalogue.

RCA Secret 2016: Jazz Green and Doug Patterson postcards in exhibition

ARTWORKS artists Jazz Green and Doug Patterson, both graduates of The Royal College of Art, have contributed postcards to this year’s RCA Secret exhibition. Each postcard is signed only on the back by the contributing artist, so the identity of the artists is not known until after purchase. The sale of secret postcards starts on Sunday 10th April 2016, and the cards always sell fast!

RCA Secret is an exhibition of nearly 2000 postcard-sized artworks by internationally acclaimed artists and graduates and students from the Royal College of Art. The sale of postcards raises money for the RCA Fund which provides financial support for current students at the college.

Previous contributors to the RCA Secret exhibition have included: Damien Hirst, Grayson Perry, Tracey Emin, Paula Rego, Julian Opie, Yoko Ono, Manolo Blanik, Orla Kiely and Zandra Rhodes.

Jazz Green: new exhibition of collages at The Cork Brick Gallery

ARTWORKS Artist Jazz Green is exhibiting a selection of new abstract collages and recent mixed-media paintings in the Spring Exhibition at the Cork Brick Gallery in Bungay, Suffolk.

The exhibition officially opens on Friday 8 April 2016 and continues to Tuesday 3 May 2016.

The spring exhibition at the Cork Brick Gallery features a selection of new and recent work by Dee Nickerson and Jazz Green.

The Spring Exhibition is also the book launch event for a newly published children’s storybook – Dara, the wild rabbit that lived with humans, written by Keshar Whitelock – with hand-drawn pen and ink illustrations by Dee Nickerson.

The original pen & ink drawings will be on display at the Cork Brick Gallery, and all the drawings featured in the book are for sale. Signed copies of the book can be purchased at the exhibition preview. Dee Nickerson will also be exhibiting new paintings alongside the drawings.

All paintings and drawings in the exhibition can be viewed on the Cork Brick Gallery website for the duration of the exhibition, with the option to purchase artwork via telephone.
