Exhibition open daily 10am to 5pm, free entry and complimentary full-colour catalogue, free parking. Blackthorpe Barn is on ground level with easy access.

All work in the exhibition is for sale. Payment can be made by cash, cheque, or any of the major credit/debit cards.

Relax in the new Artworks Ivy Café, or browse the Artworks Shop for an enticing range of art cards and smaller artworks, including ceramic pots, handmade glass jewellery and metalwork.

Artworks Exhibition : meet the artist Genista Dunham

Today, Friday 13 September 2013, Artworks artist Genista Dunham will be demonstrating papier mache and pulped media techniques in the Artworks exhibition.

Genista says of her work: My medium is papier-mâché; a synergising process both of accretion and erasure through painting, soaking, and abrasion, using plaster, wax and oils. A sense of layered history evolves through the depository of matter.

Artworks Exhibition: Daily Demo : Lyn Aylward : Figurative Oil Painting

Today, Thursday 12 September 2013, the painter Lyn Aylward will be demonstrating figurative & portrait painting techniques at the Artworks exhibition.

Lyn says: My work primarily involves the portrayal of the human figure. I have always been interested in this subject matter and relish the challenge in portraying character through both posture and facial expression.
