Nature, at times in harmony, at times conflicting and at times transitory. Through printmaking I interpret nature in its ever changing moods, its motion and its colours. Reflected in the visual forms of the landscape and the seascape. I use the mediums of the monotype and the monoprint to give me the freedom needed to portray the uniqueness that is nature.

Biography
Terry studied Graphic Design in the mid 60’s at Loughborough College of Art. From there to London to develop his graphic skills working in Advertising Agencies and Design Groups until the late 70’s. He formed his own design set up in the early 80’s working through to the early 2000’s, with a variety of clients both local, national and International, over the whole spectrum of graphic design. In 2013 he studied and developed his printmaking skills at The Curwen Print Study Centre in Cambridgeshire. He now works from his studio workshop in rural Essex. He is a member of both The Gainborough’s House Print Workshop and the Suffolk Craft Society with whom he exhibits on a regular basis. He also exhibits at The Church Street Gallery Saffron Walden, The Sea Pictures Gallery Clare and The Gallery Snape Maltings.
