Today, Wednesday 9th September 2015, well-known Norfolk painter Roger Gamble will be demonstrating acrylic painting techniques the Artworks exhibition.

Wednesday 9 September 2015: Roger Gamble – Acrylics and Ideas

Roger Gamble will be at the ARTWORKS exhibition today, from 10am – 4pm.

The piece he will be working on is quite a complex one, measuring 80cm x 80cm.

Based on the reflections seen in an Anish Kapoor polished metal sculpture at the Royal Academy, visitors will be able to see and discuss Roger’s working methods, materials and influences – plus, excitingly – watching paint dry!

Roger Gamble will be demonstrating his acrylic painting at the Artworks Exhibition on 9th, 19th and 23rd September 2015, from 10am to 4pm.

Eleonora Knowland: retrospective exhibition at The Bank

The themes that seem to be a constant in my work are light, colour and simplicity. I aim to get to the essence of what I am painting without too much information getting in the way. I like the viewer to bring their own emotions and experiences to the work when they spend time looking at it.

Collecting together work for the retrospective has been very interesting, giving me an overview to my approach. I have also found it enjoyable seeing the work again; they feel like old friends.
