Artworks Exhibition : Daily Demo : meet printmaker Jan Dingle

Today, Monday 9 September 2013, artist printmaker Jan Dingle will be demonstrating printmaking techniques in the Artworks exhibition:

Printing with an Etching Plate

Jan says: I like to build the images up on the plates and never start with a final image in mind. I love the intricacies of developing the plate and anticipation of proofing the states of plates; sometimes they turn out as expected and sometimes differently.

Watch Jan Dingle at work printing her etchings by hand, in the gallery today from 10.15 am to 4.30 pm.

Artworks Exhibition : meet the artist Eileen Revett

On Saturday 7 September 2013, printmaker Eileen Revett will be demonstrating woodcut printmaking techniques in the Artworks exhibition:

Hand-burnished Woodcut Prints with Eileen Revett

Eileen finds inspiration in the fields of philosophy, meditation and mathematics, taking ideas from Eastern thoughts in Zen Buddhism where opposites signify one another.

Artworks artist Valerie Armstrong invites you to an exhibition of some lively new work, ‘On the Wall’ at Gallery RE+New.

The exhibition ‘On the Wall‘ at Gallery RE+New is open 9th – 23rd June 2012 (closed Sundays and Mondays), 9.30am – 5.00pm. There will be an informal private view day on Saturday 9th June 2012 where you can meet the artist.
