Today, Saturday 14 September 2013, Artworks artist Jenny Goater will be demonstrating wire sculpture techniques in the Artworks exhibition.

Jenny says of her work: I find that using wire translates the drawn line into an exciting three dimensional medium. I derived the technique from armatures constructed to support works in clay or plaster. Wire gives the freedom of drawing in space, and its shapes can suggest dynamic movement or static volume and weight. Read more about Jenny Goater‘s work.

The Artworks annual exhibition is a great opportunity to see and buy new and original contemporary work by some of East Anglia’s most inspired and creative artists. All the work will be for sale.
We will also have a gift shop selling artists’ limited edition prints, unframed work, greetings cards and postcards. There is also the Artworks café selling light refreshments.
