ARTWORKS Exhibition : pictures from the preview evening

We would like to say a huge thank you to all the wonderful people who attended the Artworks preview evening last friday. We had over 500 guests through the doors and we were blessed by some late afternoon sunshine, making it a most memorable & enjoyable evening in such a beautiful rural setting. Here are a few photographs from the Artworks preview evening.

Many artists’ works are proving very popular with visitors and art collectors alike, but if the work you like has sold or it is out of your budget, then pop into the Artworks shop.

The Artworks shop has a dynamic, evolving display of smaller, original paintings, prints, ceramics, sculptural glass & ironwork, together with an extensive range of artist greetings cards.

There was an assortment of delicious canapés and liquid refreshments to accompany the evening’s perusal of the art. On top of that, live music was supplied by the Gill Levin Jazz Trio! Utterly spoilt!

The Artworks 12th annual art exhibition runs from 10 September – 2 October 2011, open 10am – 5pm daily at Blackthorpe Barn, Rougham, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk IP30 9JG.

Entry to the Artworks exhibition is free, there is ample parking with full disability access (two wheelchairs are also available if required). There will also be the Artworks Cafe selling light refreshments alongside the very popular Artworks Gallery Shop.

If you haven’t yet visited, we hope you will enjoy your visit to Artworks 2011!
