Here are a few photographs taken at our 14th Annual Artworks exhibition in the wonderful setting of Blackthorpe Barn. The exhibition is open daily, from 10am to 5pm, until 29 September 2013.

Artworks Exhibition: Daily Demo : Lyn Aylward : Figurative Oil Painting

Today, Thursday 12 September 2013, the painter Lyn Aylward will be demonstrating figurative & portrait painting techniques at the Artworks exhibition.

Lyn says: My work primarily involves the portrayal of the human figure. I have always been interested in this subject matter and relish the challenge in portraying character through both posture and facial expression.

Artworks Exhibition : meet painter Patricia Colyer today’s demo artist

Today, Tuesday 10 September 2013, painter Patricia Colyer will be demonstrating how she paints landscapes in the artists demonstration area of the Artworks exhibition:

Patricia says: I find atmospheric skies, textural reed-beds and salt-marsh estuaries a way of expressing the emotions and the mystery I sense by my Broadland home. I find the whole process of painting in oil fascinating and know the possibilities are boundless.
