Artworks Mini Artworks Prize Draw 2019

Win an original artwork by one of our exhibiting artists! Tickets are £2 each and the prize draw will take place at 3pm on Saturday 5th October 2019. Here is a selection of mini artworks from previous Artworks exhibitions:

The Artworks Mini Artworks Prize Draw funds our Schools Programme, which encourages schools to visit the exhibition & select an artist to work with in their school. More information on the schools programme is here: www.artworkseast.com/schools/

The Mini Artworks Prize Draw also makes a donation to a regional charity, and in 2019 we have chosen the Ipswich based Arts charity, Inside Out Community.

Inside Out is an arts and mental health charity providing programmes throughout the year for people drawn to the therapeutic arts as a way of improving and sustaining their mental health and wellbeing.

Workshop programmes include: the visual arts, creative writing, singing, music, drama, and more, led by professional artists who share their skills in inspiring and supportive ways.

Inside Out is based in Ipswich, UK. More details via their website, www.insideoutcommunity.com.

ARTWORKS Exhibition 2018: Meet the Artists – Daily art presentations

The popular ‘Meet the Artist’ series of daily demos and artist presentations return to Artworks in 2018. A different artist sets up a mini art studio each day to share their artwork and art processes. Other artists will be working at the sales desk or in the Artworks’ Ivy café, so there are numerous opportunities to talk to the artists during the Artworks exhibition.

Below is the MTA schedule to help you plan your visit to Artworks in September 2018. The artists will be working 10.30am and 4.30pm (with a short break for lunch) – these art presentations are informal and there is no need to book ahead. Follow us on Twitter @ARTWORKS_east for daily news and updates.
